Avengers Assemble!

Avengers made their way to the Burris Center in Brookfield on Sunday. The event is one of many sponosred by Brookfield Parks & Recreation. This Saturday the group is hosting two events, an Easter Egg Hunt, at Rusk Park at 10 a.m. Different ages in different locations. Fairy Garden Workshop, will also beheld Saturday from 1 – 4 p.m., at the Burris Center, Bring your own container with some dirt in it and anything special to decorate with. Everything else supplied. On March 31, crews with Good Morning America (GMA) were in Marceline filing for a feature about Missouri for ABC’s Rise and Shine segment. Marceline’s moment in the spotlight can be found at the 2:10 mark. The segment also includes mentions of Kansas City, St. Louis and the Lake of the Ozarks. Marceline Golf Tigers Flip Coin On Kirksville At La Plata Tuesday

On a different day at a different site, Marceline High School’s golf boys produced a different outcome when they crossed paths with Kirksville again Tuesday. After losing to KHS by 10 strokes at Macon March 28, the MHS squad – led by Lance O’Dell’s excellent 40 – flipped their previous double-digits loss to KHS’ version of Tigers into a slightly-larger double-digits triumph, prevailing 179-193 at the La Plata Municipal Golf Course.
