MARCELINE — After historically having been led by head coaches with multiple years of experience and often-lengthy track records of being in charge of a prep program, Marceline High School officials took a bit of a flyer in 2018 when they tabbed young Mark Ross, who previously had only been an assistant coach with a Kansas program for four years.
