Teams of students from across the University of Missouri System are competing to develop plans for supplying access to affordable high-speed internet to residents and businesses in northwestern Missouri.

There is a $3 suggested contribution for meals for those 60 years and over and $6.75 cost for meals for those 59 years and under. Meals are delivered Monday thru Friday, from 10:30 – 12:00, except on holidays.

Macon County Republican Club held their annual ice cream social, July 21, at the Macon County Fairgrounds. A large crowd enjoyed ice cream and cake and bid enthusiastically on fundraiser auction items. Macon County elected officials were introduced by club president Jon Jearns.
