There is a $3 suggested contribution for meals for those 60 years and over and $6.75 cost for meals for those 59 years and under. Meals are delivered Monday thru Friday, from 10:30 a.m., – 12 p.m., except on holidays.

The Brookfield R-III Board of Education, Brookfield, Missouri met in open session on Tuesday, Aug. 16, beginning at 5:30 p.m., in person in the HS Media Center. According to a report written by Superintendent Dr. Kyle Collins, called, 'The Gist', the following board members were present: Jim McIntyre, Blake DeVoy, Jered Wallace, Dave Shaw, Noel Staddie, and Ryan Burns arrived at 5:52 p.m., Mandy Tarpening was absent. President McIntyre called the meeting to order and led those in attendance in the Pledge of Allegiance. The board unanimously approved the Agenda and Consent Agenda items as presented.

Brian Brockman, Brookfield, has been elected as a delegate to the 139th American Angus Association Convention of Delegates, set to be held Nov. 7 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, reports Mark McCully, chief executive officer of the American Angus Association.
