New Dock Opens At Marceline’s Country Club Lake

The new public fishing dock at Marceline's Country Club Lake opened to the public Sept. 9. In a post of social media Marceline City Manager Richard Hoon said, 'We hope everyone has the opportunity to enjoy this new feature and take good care of it for many years as there was a lot of time/ effort put forward, and contributions from community organizations to make this possible.

Cowboys Won’t Put Prescott On IR

FRISCO, Texas (AP) — The Dallas Cowboys are not putting quarterback Dak Prescott on injured reserve after surgery on his right thumb, leaving open the possibility that he could return within the next four games. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Tuesday during his weekly appearance on the team's flagship radio station that the team wants Prescott 'to be a consideration for playing within the next four games.' That is the minimum number of games a player has to miss if placed on injured reserve.
