With a blazing start one night and a fast finish the next, Brookfield High School’s basketball Lady Bulldogs started their 2022-23 season this past week in promising fashion. Debuting at home Monday, the Lady ’Dogs bolted to a 21-4 lead over Westran and cruised to a 43-26 triumph.

Royals Considering New Stadium Sites, Owner Says
KANSAS CITY — The Kansas City Royals have selected several potential sites to build a replacement for aging Kauffman Stadium, owner John Sherman said earlier this month. In a letter to fans posted on social media, Sherman said the sites are in or near downtown Kansas City, but he did not elaborate.
