Healthier BHS Basketball Girls Hope to Heal Record
BROOKFIELD — A brief flurry of success at the end of their 2020-21 which hinted at a significantly- improved 2021-22 campaign for the Brookfield High School basketball Lady Bulldogs careened off the road into an injury-dug chasm which sabotaged last season’s improvement to only two more wins (six) than the year before. As the BHS girls’ 2022-23 is set to debut Monday with a home contest against Westran, followed by a Tuesday visit to Putnam County, the hope is the minimized advance last season saw will, through the forced experience those who stayed well last year gained, produce – if not a quantum leap forward in caliber of play and win-lose outcomes – a significant surge ahead in those regards.
