State Tech announces Fall 2022 Dean's List State Technical College of Missouri announced its December 2022 students who achieved the Dean’s List during the 2022 fall semester. To be placed on the Dean’s List, a full-time student must earn a semester grade point average between 3.5 and 4.0 on a 4-point scale.

University of Missouri Extension is taking applications from veterans for the third year of the Missouri Heroes to Hives program. The free program trains veterans in beekeeping while also addressing their mental and physical wellness, said MU Extension agronomist Travis Harper.

The 16th Annual Polar Plunge will take place at 1 p.m., on February 11, in Simpson Park. Brave men and women from around the area will don disco-themed costumes and swimwear and take “polar” dips into freezing water.

There is a $3 suggested contribution for meals for those 60 years and over and $6.75 cost for meals for those 59 years and under. Meals are delivered Monday thru Friday, from 10:30 a.m., – 12 p.m., except on holidays.

The Marceline Tigers opened Scholar Bowl season by playing in the PAWS 23 tournament at Palmyra. The two attending Marceline teams and had eight games each.
