There is a $3 suggested contribution for meals for those 60 years and over and $6.75 cost for meals for those 59 years and under. Meals are delivered Monday thru Friday, from 10:30 a.m., – 12 p.m., except on holidays.

The Marceline R-V District School Board met on February 20, to discuss several items moving forward in the 2022-23 spring semester. Highlights of the meeting included a report on district competition outcomes by students in the Marceline chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), appointment of a new board president, the approval of the 2023-24 school calendar, and a specific profile report and post-pandemic academic success story presented by Sarah Dunham, principal of Walt Disney Elementary School.
The Grand River Welding Institute (GRWI) will host the 3rd Annual Welding Competition and Job Fair on March 31. The Job Fair will be held at the Locust Creek Event Center, and the awards will be presented between 5-5:30 p.m. that evening.

Six of 10 wrestling Tigers, Lady Tigers earn medals in Class 1 COLUMBIA — Marceline High School Tigers Ryder Gooch and Drew Griffin claimed second place in their respective weight divisions and four other MHS wrestlers battled their way to medals in the 2022-23 Missouri State High School Activities Association Championships for Class 1 teams last Wednesday and Thursday. Led by the pair of runnersup, more than half of the 10-members Marceline contingent to the state tournament earned top-6 finishes.
Six of eight Bulldogs medal in powerful showing COLUMBIA — Big things were expected of the Brookfield High School wrestling Bulldogs in 2022-23 and the blue-andwhite delivered, individually and as a group. Although being out-distanced by fellow Clarence Cannon Conference member Centralia by a healthy margin for the team championship, the Bulldogs rode individual titles by Peyton and Devan Parn, runnerup placements by two others, and six total medal-earners to a runnerup team finish in the Class 1 Missouri State High School Activities Association Championships last week.
