All of Marceline High School’s spring sports squads were in action late last week, but the weather early this week limited scheduled MHS competitions.The baseball Tigers continued their alternation of outcomes a week ago yesterday when they edged visiting Mendon: Northwestern, 9-8.Golf Tiger Lance O’Dell was runnerup medalist in a 4-schools match at Moberly that same day, while the track-and-field athletes were winning three events in the Fayette Relays meet.No details were available at press time on the win which again leveled the baseball varsity’s record – this time at 3-3.After having a would-be Monday home game with Paris postponed until 5 p.m.
