The Mid-Missouri Fisher House recognized the generosity of the Bucklin American Legion Green Hills Post 57 with a Certificate of Appreciation for the donations received from the post. The Mid-Missouri Fisher House will provide free, temporary lodging for families of veterans receiving hospital care. The building is currently under construction at the Columbia, Missouri Truman Veteran's Hospital. It will accommodate up to 16 families of veterans at any given time, providing a no-cost place to stay for those traveling to Truman VA Hospital.
