June A. Nickell, age 92, of Brookfield, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022.

A family graveside service will be held Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery in Brookfield with Pastor Rex Leppin officiating.

June was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Gale E. Nickell. June, the daughter of James and Gail Nickell (Bridges). June married Gale Nickell, December 31, 1948. Together they had three children Shirley Ensor; Cape Coral Florida, James Nickell (Ann); Rothville, Gerald Nickell, Brookfield; two grandchildren, Krista Bean (Mike), Jonathan Nickell; four great-grandchildren, Brittney, Racheal, Wyatt and Jace Bean.

June enjoyed crocheting, spending time with her family, and many other craft projects.

June was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers, sisters and one son in-law.
