Krystal Aldridge, a Junior member of Unit 57 Green Hills American Legion earned and received the Children of Warriors “How to Earn Money by Your Self” patch at monthly Unit meeting on Nov. 20, 2022. She was to earn $5 for each year of her age, at the time she was 10 years old, so was to earn $50. Aldridge helped at a local diner on Monday’s and it took her about three months but she made $73 and chose to send it all. The proceeds went to the ALA National President Scholarship-“Children of Warriors”. Aldridge is in the 5th grade.
