Wednesday evening, February 15, 2023, at the Bucklin Tall Paul's restaurant, Jenesa Keller, Director of North Central Missouri Moms Demand Action, was guest speaker at the Linn County Democrat Club meeting. Keller stated Moms Demand Action is not affiliated with any political party, is not anti-gun, but is an anti-gun violence group. Keller said there have been 67 mass shootings in the United States in the first 53 days of 2023. Democrat Club president Dennis Van Dyke announced the Club will host a free will spaghetti fund raiser March 15th, 2023, 6 p.m., at the Brookfield Immaculate Conception Church school basement.
