This holiday season, OliveSage Emporium is rallying the community to bring warmth and joy to local nursing home residents through its Adopt A Nursing Home Resident project. The initiative aims to provide each of the approximately 80 nursing home residents in Marceline with a comforting, full-sized Warmie (a microwavable stuffed animal that provides warmth) and a set of essential hygiene products.

For just $25, community members can sponsor a resident, helping to bring a little extra holiday cheer to someone who might otherwise feel alone during this festive season. Any additional funds raised will go towards activities and programs that enrich the residents’ daily lives.

Donations can be made in person at OliveSage Emporium, located at 117 N Main Street USA in Marceline. For those who prefer digital options, donations are also being accepted via Venmo or PayPal. This is an opportunity for the community to come together and show our elders that they are remembered and valued, making a difference in their holiday season.
