I've been praying for this day to come, for years! Years. Lot's of website building happened brick by brick today! Please excuse me while I do a little victory dancing. You see, over the last few years, this next step in publishing intimidated me to no end. Then, I tried to track down a web designer and I hit roadblocks. However, God's good timing and answers to prayer said something else! This chock full week of answers now has me breathless!

Here's the list of happenings so far"

God prompted me to contact the perfect illustrator for a future children's book(s) who had just finished praying herself. Amazing timing! I had an answer to prayer financially for my web expenses.I gained clarity regarding the design of my author site.Last week, I had more interaction with an acquisitions editor in regard to articles I had already submitted.Midweek, there was reconciliation with a loved one after reading Matthew 5:23-24.And so much more!

Guys, that's what God's grace looks like, even after catching my kids' awful cough. Today's struggles, like illness, still pales in comparison to God's movement! Here's the reality, distractions, setbacks, and fear will always try to keep us from noticing and celebrating God's grace.  Distractions will always try to divide our thoughts so we cannot think straight or apply the truth of God's word to our current situations and decision making. Yesterday, I honestly noticed my own thoughts slip and gratefully, my oldest daughter stepped in to listen to my heart and pray. The enemy wanted to blind me from seeing hope but I witnessed prayer change things instead. Let's keep praying friends. Let's decide here and now, not to allow ourselves to get so bogged down with the weightiness of life that we become blind to God's acts of love towards us. Splashing in God's loving grace with each other and celebrating together is so much more exhilarating than drowning in the fear of the unknown. Let's not forget brothers and sisters, He already holds the victory!

” Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me?

Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.”
