BROOKFIELD – The Brookfield High School Alumni Association is gearing up for a lively and fun-filled Alumni Weekend celebration, taking place on Friday, July 18, and Saturday, July 19, 2025. The two-day event will be hosted at East Twin Parks in Brookfield, Missouri, and promises an exciting mix of activities, community fellowship, and entertainment for alumni, families, and local residents.
Festivities will begin on Friday evening with the annual Alumni Party in the Park, running from 6-11 p.m. This family-friendly gathering invites former students, current residents, and guests to enjoy an evening of camaraderie beneath the stars.
One of the highlights of the evening will be the alumni tent spaces, available for reservation at $50 each, offering groups a designated area to relax, socialize, and reconnect with old classmates. The evening’s entertainment includes karaoke for those ready to showcase their singing talents and a casual, laid-back atmosphere with a bring-your-own-beverage (BYOB) policy, making it an enjoyable event for adults. Adding to the festivities, the Tillman House will be on-site serving up their crowd-favorite walking tacos, with proceeds supporting the local museum and its ongoing efforts to preserve community history.
Saturday’s schedule continues with a special moment of recognition at Graff Field, where a rededication ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. The event will celebrate the unveiling of the newly updated Graff Field sign, paying tribute to the community’s athletic traditions and honoring the history tied to the local ballfield. Free hot dogs and drinks will be available during the rededication ceremony, and guests can enjoy viewing memorabilia displays that reflect Brookfield’s rich heritage.
Immediately following the ceremony, at noon, the highly anticipated Alumni Parade will roll through downtown Brookfield. The parade serves as a centerpiece of Alumni Weekend, welcoming both participants and spectators to take part in the celebration. Alumni, school organizations, local businesses, and community groups are invited to participate in the parade by lining up at Trinity Methodist Church ahead of the noon start time. Residents are encouraged to line Main Street and show their support, helping make the parade an unforgettable community event.
