Linn County Animal Shelter needs your helpThe Linn County Animal Shelter needs your help.The shelter needs a volunteer to come to the shelter and photograph animals on a regular basis (once a week) so photos can be sent out to help with adoptions This person would need to love animals and feel comfortable working with them to capture good photos.The shelter also needs help in writing grants – a person who has experience in the grant writing process and would be willing to carry out the process.The shelter also needs donations of paper towels, dog treats, bleach, 13 gallon trash bags, lawn/leaf trash bags, powder laundry soap, toilet paper, Bounty paper towels, kitty litter, Odoban and Fabuloso.Donations can be dropped off at Magnolia Antiques in downtown Marceline or at the shelter located at 29205 Highway 11, Brookfield.

Tina-Avalon to Host 40th Annual Country Music Show Tina-Avalon will host its 40th Annual Country Music Show with two shows on March 9, at 4 p.m.
