Bull Riding For Our Veterans

Riding For Our Veterans is an organized group that raises money by having Bull Rides with the proceeds benefiting local veterans organizations such as the VFW, American Legion in Chillicothe, Hugs from Home of Gallatin, along with four others. Riding For Our Veterans Bull Ride was in Chillicothe Friday and Saturday night at the Litton Ag Center. This year was the seventh annual year of Riding four Our Veterans at Chillicothe. Hopefully, we see those feisty bulls next year and help out as many soldiers as we can. Javon Kille Javon Kille

Mary Gibson Exhibit Opens At NOMO

Last Saturday area residents celebrated the launch of a new exhibit at North Missouri Art Council (NOMO). Organizers said there was a “wonderful turnout” to celebrate the art of Mary Gibson. In addition to Gibson’s art there are several other pieces by other area artists also on display. The art gallery is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday, the same hours as Paper Station. Entry is through the paper stations at 109 S. Main St., Marceline. Gibson is pictured with her art, along with other pieces of her art on display.
