Linn County Youth Bring Home Honors From 4-H State Livestock Judging Contest
Almost 150 Missouri 4-H youths applied their evaluation and communication skills Sept. 10 during the University of Missouri Extension State 4-H Livestock Judging Contest at the Trowbridge Livestock Center on the MU campus in Columbia. Several youth from Linn County were honored. Linn County was also named one of the top three junior teams.
Life Options Green Hills Fatherhood Program Manager Announced
Life Options Green Hills Pregnancy + Health Center recently announced Bill Moore has been named its Fatherhood Program Manager. Moore oversees all the male services and facilitates the training for male volunteers.

New Dock Opens At Marceline’s Country Club Lake
The new public fishing dock at Marceline's Country Club Lake opened to the public Sept. 9. In a post of social media Marceline City Manager Richard Hoon said, 'We hope everyone has the opportunity to enjoy this new feature and take good care of it for many years as there was a lot of time/ effort put forward, and contributions from community organizations to make this possible.
