LCL OUTDOORS SPORTS EDITOR The Missouri Department of Conservation plans to remove thousands of Asian carp from the lower Grand River from Sept. 12-16 in an effort to bolster research and fisheries management of these invasive species.

Local farmers Clint and Brandy Gladbach recently directed a $5,000 Bayer Fund America’s Farmers Grow Communities donation to the Marceline FFA Foundation.
