Dept. of Interior Approves Request to Reinstate Police Escorts for Honor Flights

Following a letter sent last week from Missouri U.S. Senators Roy Blunt and Josh Hawley to Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland, the National Park Service has announced they will reinstate police escorts for American veterans traveling to Washington, D.C., as part of the Honor Flight Network. In their letter to Secretary Haaland, the senators noted that Missouri-based Honor Flights were denied vehicular escort services this year and urged the Secretary to reverse course.

Become A Safe Produce Grower

Do you grow produce for sale in Missouri? If so, have you registered with the Missouri Department of Agriculture? Produce growers who complete the voluntary Grower Inventory Registration will help themselves and the Department determine if they are exempt, qualified exempt, or covered by the FDA Produce Safety Rule. In addition, the information gathered through the registration will also allow the Department to better assist growers by determining training locations and providing farm visits, notification of training, and On-Farm Readiness Reviews.
