Safe At Home – Address Confidentiality Program

The Safe at Home program helps protect victims of domestic violence, rape, sexual assault, human trafficking, stalking or other crimes who fear for their safety. Through the use of an alternate designated address. The designated address can be used on new records as well such as driver’s license, voter registration, school records, city or county records and court records – amongst other types of records.

Missouri Livestock Symposium Accepting Applications for the Missouri Livestock Achievement Award

The Missouri Livestock Symposium is currently accepting nominations for the new Missouri Livestock Achievement Award. This award recognizes an individual or organization demonstrating outstanding achievements and distinguished contributions to the livestock industry. Eligible applicants can be producers of livestock, agribusiness personnel, agency personnel or agriculture educators in the state of Missouri. Other parties who have been longtime supporters of the Missouri livestock industry will also be considered.

Fire Burns For Hours Leaving Residents Homeless, Destroying History

A three-alarm fire early Wednesday has reportedly left as many as 33 people, including eight children without homes after 12 apartments and several businesses burned along Brookfield’s Main Street. Smoke could be seen for miles Wednesday morning while fire crews from Brookfield, Chillicothe and Marcleine battled the blaze while dozens of spectators watched the scene unfold.
