To Protect Water, University Of Missouri Professors Recommend Tighter Regulation Of Runoff

More than 190 segments of Missouri rivers, streams and lakes are impaired because of pollution from crop fertilizer, livestock waste and urban runoff. And without action, two University of Missouri professors say, more drinking water utilities might have to spend considerable sums to keep their water supplies healthy, raising rates for customers.

FedEx Distribution Center coming to Brookfield

On Jan. 5, several weeks fate construction began the City of Brookfield officially announced a Fed Ex Distribution Center is coming to Brookfield. In Fall of 2021, the Brookfield City Council voted to annex the property located off of South Highway 11, just southwest of Walmart.
