Amaryllis are tropical plants grown for their spectacular tubular flower. Whether for a novice or an experienced gardener they make an excellent choice for a gift. They are often given as gifts and seen blooming near the Christmas and holiday season. There are several different colors to choose from but the red and white are favorites around the holiday season. Amaryllis are easy to grow, need little care and don’t take up much space. These plants are great in an office if enough light is available.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — The number of people being treated for COVID-19 across Missouri continues to set records as virus cases surge across the state and strain hospital capacity.

Through end of November 2021, Missouri has spent $4.82 billion in federal stimulus dollars intended for COVID-19 response from CARES Act and other programs, according to State Auditor Nicole Galloway.
