HiSET (GED) Prep Class to be Held

Give yourself a great holiday gift! It’s never too late to get your High School Equivalency. Orientation for the upcoming HiSET Class (GED) test for High School Equivalency Certificate session will be held at Linn County Area Career Technical Center Monday Dec. 2, Tuesday Dec, 3, and Monday Dec. 9 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., all three nights. Joy Tree Added to Holiday Decorations at Tormey Park

Joy has struck at Tormey Park in Brookfield. It is glowing this holiday season with new lights and the heartfelt addition of the Joy Tree made possible by the Jim and Amy Elliott family. In memory of Amy, whose spirit of joy never wavered, the tree’s multi-color lights will shine brightly for all to enjoy. Gratitude is shown to the Elliott family and the dedicated volunteers who made this magical transformation possible.
