The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will hold four open house public information meetings regarding the proposed improvements to the structures included in the Northwest Bridge Bundle Design- Build Project throughout Carroll, Chariton, Linn, Livingston, Mercer, Putnam, and Sullivan counties.
On Feb. 15, the Marceline Scholar Bowl team hosted a tri-meet with Schuyler County and Fayette visiting Marceline. The JV, Varsity, and Middle School Tigers all went 1-1 with losses to Schuyler and wins over Fayette.
The Marceline Nutrition Center is located at 229 W. Hauser. Please call ahead at 660-3763103 to reserve a carry-out meal, which will be ready at 11 a.m. Dine-in meals begin at 11:30 a.m. Suggested contribution is $3 per meal. 8 oz. low-fat milk is offered at every meal.
There is a $3 suggested contribution for meals for those 60 years and over and $6.75 cost for meals for those 59 years and under. Meals are delivered Monday thru Friday, from 10:30 a.m., – 12 p.m., except on holidays.
North Central Missouri College (NCMC) will host a Legislative Forum in Trenton in Cross Hall Lobby on Friday, February 24. Legislators and officials will be in attendance representing area counties, regions, and the state of Missouri. There will be a meet and greet from 10-10:30 a.m., followed by a semi-structured forum from 10:30-11:30 a.m., with each attendee having an opportunity to present the key items on their respective agendas. Legislators and officials will also have an opportunity to take questions from the audience and respond to current issues facing our region. All members of the public are invited to attend.
The North Missouri Sportsman’s Alliance (NMSA) will be conducting two events simultaneously on Saturday, March 11, at the Elks Lodge in Chillicothe. Both events are free to all who choose to participate.
