Linn County Food Pantry Hours for Remainder of 2022 The Linn County Food Pantry will be open Monday through Friday, 9 -11 a.m., for the remainder of 2022. First-time recipients should bring their Social Security number, proof of residence (utility bill), and state-issued photo identification (Missouri driver’s license or non-driver license).

Giving Back: Neighbor Helping Neighbor

Canvas House needs donations, volunteers and members “We’re very close to getting things to a solid start for Canvas House in February 2023,” stated Brandon Gladbach, president of Canvas House Recovery. “We had an event recently that raised $4000. Many donations have come in, but we still have lots more work to be done.”

Applications being accepted for sponsored youth trip to nation’s capital

GRM Networks will sponsor two high school juniors on an all-expense paid trip to the 2023 Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) Youth Tour May 31 through June 4 in Washington, D.C. Youth representing GRM Networks will join other students representing rural telecommunication providers from across the United States as they learn about legislative and government processes and the importance of quality broadband connections.

Christmas 4 Kids 2022

The Mareceline Police Department and Christmas 4 Kids volunteers spent hours decorating and then celebrating Christmas with children from across the county at the 10th annual event to be held starting at 4 p.m., on Dec. 17 at the Walsworth Community Center.
