2025 Ewigman Family Reunion

The 43rd annual Ewigman Family Reunion was held Saturday, July 26, at the Lake Nehai Clubhouse with 177 family members and 11 guests attending. This year’s chairpersons were Willie Ewigman and Ryenn Watson. The Pat Bradford family prepared the meat which was delicious deep fried catfish. Dennis and Sally Swenson were in charge of registration, and noted there are 314 registered descendants in the Ewigman Family. The Jim Ewigman family was in charge of set-up and clean-up. The silent auction was organized by Ashley Collins. Family group photos were taken by David and Erin Tilghman.

Fine-Tuning Time

Marceline and Brookfield high schools’ 2025 football and softball teams did “road tests” last weekend, except the BHS softball Lady Bulldogs’ was at home as they had practice games against both Trenton and Putnam County on the BHS diamond last Saturday morning. Marceline’s softball squad went to Palmyra that day for similar activity. The evening before, MHS’ football Tigers traveled to South Shelby High School near Shelbina for controlled scrimmages against the host Cardinals, Westran and Louisiana.
