With a strong finish to Nashvilleâs Music City Bowl Dec. 30 â rallying with two Blake Craig field goals from more than 50 yards away while shutting out Iowa in the fourth quarter to prevail, 27-24, the 2024 University of Missouri-Columbia football Tigers concluded their season with a 10-3 record. One of the few Southeastern Conference teams to win their bowl game, the Tigers achieved back-to-back double-digits-wins seasons for only the third time in program history, albeit most of that history saw the team play no more than 10 or 11 games in a season. Seen here are senior quarterback and team leader Brady Cook, who led the team in rushing, as well as passing, yardage, gaining some of that around the left side, senior wide receiver Theo Wease making a catch to gain important yardage before exiting with an injury in the second quarter, and defensive lineman Chris McClellan, left, and Zion Young holding the bowl game trophy as head coach Eli Drinkwitz, far left, looks on.
