PALMYRA — With a repeated exhibition of big plays – on both sides of the ball, the Brookfield High School football Bulldogs easily registered their second victory of 2022 last Friday evening, whipping the host Palmyra Panthers 48-20 in Clarence Cannon Conference action. Seizing the early lead by “going up top” to Kendrell Carter as he slipped out of the backfield unnoticed on a fourth-and-4 call from the Palmyra 42, the Bulldogs (2-3, 1-2 CCC) kept up that penchant right through to their final and longest touchdown – a 54-yards burst off right tackle by running back Amos Baum in the fourth period that created a 34-points lead, 48-14.

After cruising past guest Paris in three innings Monday, MHS used a trio of crooked-number scoring innings to push past long-time L&C diamond power Westran 9-4 at the Disney Park field last Tuesday.
