• Celebrate Recovery: Every Monday, 5:30 p.m., meal, 6:30 p.m., and 7:30 p.m., meeting, Assembly of God Church, Marceline.
• Survivors of Sexual Trauma Women’s Support Group. Sponsored by the North Central Missouri Mental Health Center. Hosted by 4 MOMS. Many women have survived sexual trauma in their lives. Often, they feel they are alone. We are offering a space for survivors to feel safe, receive support and give support. Tuesdays from 4:30 to 6 p.m. 201 N. Main St., Brookfield. • The North Central Missouri Mental Health Center is now hosting a LGBTQIA Support Group for teens 17 and younger and adults. The meetings for youth 17 and younger will be be held from 4-5 p.m., and adult group from 5-6 p.m., both on the 3rd Thursday of each month at the MOMS Breaking the Silence office located at 201 N. • The Brookfield Public Library invites families to a festive evening of Story Time and Crafts on Dec. 19 from 4:30-5 p.m. This special event, designed to spread holiday cheer, is open to all ages and join in the fun.

• Cookies with Santa, 4:30 – 7:30 p.m., at Farm Bureau Office, 203 W. Helm Street. Submit letters to Santa (Dec. 2–20) and enjoy cookies and photos with Santa.
December 21
• Lollipops and gumdrops! A Candyland event presented by the Brookfield Parks & Recreation will be held Dec. 21 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at #1 Center Drive in Brookfield. More information and details are yet to come. Be sure to watch for additional information about the festive holiday event.

• The Brookfield Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary will host a Holiday Cookie Sale on Sunday, Dec. 22, starting at 10 a.m. The event will take place in the basement of the Immaculate Conception Catholic School, located at 210 West John Street in Brookfield.
January 1
• The Marceline City Pool invites families to kick off the new year with fun and games at their 2025 New Year’s Aquatic Games event. The celebration will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025, from 1 – 2:30 p.m. at 800 South Kansas Avenue, Marceline. This family-friendly event will feature competitive and entertaining aquatic games for all ages, with prizes included.
