• Brookfield Knights of Columbus fish fry from 4:30- 7 p.m., in the Catholic School basement at 210 West John Street in Brookfield. Attendees can enjoy a meal featuring fish, shrimp, slaw, baked beans, a choice of baked potato or French fries, cornbread, and dessert. Plates are available for $15 each, while an all-fish platter option is offered for $25. The event is dine-in or carry-out only, with no drive-thru service available.

• Marceline Firefighters Ball from 3:30-11 p.m., featuring famous fireman’s burgers and chips, drive – thru available, social hour and the Cherry Pistols starting at 7 p.m., at the Walsworth Community Center.
• Brookfield Parks and Recreation Easter Egg Hunt at Rusk Park at 10 a.m. The event is open to children of all ages. Admission is free, and families are encouraged to bring their own baskets for collecting eggs.
• Life Care Center of Brookfield’s Easter Egg Hunt and Lunch at 2 p.m. The event promises an afternoon of festive activities, food, and plenty of prizes for children up to age 10.
In addition to the egg hunt, attendees can enjoy a complimentary lunch featuring hotdogs, chips, and soda. Life Care of Brookfield is located at 315 Hunt St.

• Pool Easter Egg Hunt, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Marceline Pool. This event will take place in the water. Participants are encouraged to wear their swimsuits and bring a net, bag, or basket to collect floating eggs in the pool.

“Demolition Day” beginning at 10 a.m., at Brayden’s Dream Farm located at 29623 Major Drive in Bucklin.
The event will involve dismantling a fence in the pasture to create access for heavy equipment needed for an upcoming project. Volunteers are encouraged to bring gloves, wire cutters, and a t-post puller if available. Organizers promise drinks and a light lunch to keep participants energized as they work to improve the farm’s infrastructure.
