• Survivors of Sexual Trauma Women’s Support Group. Sponsored by the North Central Missouri Mental Health Center. Hosted by 4 MOMS. Many women have survived sexual trauma in their lives. Often, they feel they are alone. We are offering a space for survivors to feel safe, receive support and give support. Tuesdays from 4:30 to 6 p.m. 201 N. Main St., Brookfield. • Free food boxes will be distributed in starting at 12:15 p.m., under the gazebo at East Lake Twin Park, located at 121 East Park Street. Boxes will be handed out until supplies run out. The event is sponsored by USDA, the Missouri Department of Social Services, Caring Community Partnership, and other local organizations. Families are encouraged to arrive early to ensure they receive a box before supplies are gone.

• Organizers with Marceline Tours will hold a 2 p.m.,  at the Walsworth Community Center to discuss an upcoming trip to Nova Scotia , Mackinac Island, and Branson. In 2025. Come ask questions and sign up for a great trip, meet new friends. Remember, When you travel with Marceline Tours you are helping support the Marceline Senior Nutrition Program and Friends of the Marceline Pool and other non-profit organizations.

• The North Central Missouri Mental Health Center is now hosting a LGBTQIA Support Group for teens 17 and younger and adults. The meetings for youth 17 and younger will be be held from 4-5 p.m., and adult group from 5-6 p.m., both on the 3rd Thursday of each month at the MOMS Breaking the Silence office located at 201 N. • The Marceline Wine & Art Stroll returns on Saturday, Aug.23, 2025, from 5 to 9 p.m. along 207 N. Main Street USA in Marceline. Hosted by the Downtown Marceline Foundation, this event promises to fill the streets with flavor, color, and community charm.
