Diane Rodgers, age 66 of Marceline, died Friday,

January 20, 2023 at University of Kansas Hospital. Diane was born in Marceline, Missouri on December 27, 1956 to Charles Dale and Eileen Agnes (Kosman) Edgar. She married Tim Rodgers August 11, 1989 and he survives her. Diane was a graduate of Marceline R5 High School and a member of the St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, Marceline. She had worked as a Registered Nurse for over 35 years, exemplifying compassion and care for many, but kindness to all. She retired in January of 2022. Diane was known for her wit, infectious laugh and calming spirit. She loved spending time with her children, being a Grammie to her grandsons, chatting over coffee with her siblings, being an identical twin, laughing with her husband every night and tending to her garden each summer. To know her was to love her. She is survived by her husband Tim Rodgers of the home in Marceline, son Bennie Cagle of Marceline, daughters, Nici Cagle of Columbia and Megan Tschannen and husband William of Kansas City, MO, four brothers, Donald Edgar and Joyce, Tom Edgar and Joy, Randy Edgar and Julie, all of Marceline, Steve Edgar and Lynne of Denton, TX, three sisters, Marcia Cunningham of Brookfield, her twin Denise Darr and Richard of Kansas City, MO and Missy Buchanan and Mitch of Rocheport, father and motherinlaw Floyd and Deloris Rodgers of New Cambria, sister-in-law Anne Burns of Marceline, two grandsons, Aiden and Trace Cagle of Marceline, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Matt Cunningham. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, Marceline with burial in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM Monday, January 23, 2023 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church with rosary at 5 PM. Memorials may be made to Fr.
