Edward “Eddie” A. Womack, age 79, of Brookfield, MO; passed away Friday, January 6, 2023, at Pioneer Skilled Nursing Center in Marceline, MO.

Edward Womack, son of Charles and Daisy (Thudium) Womack was born on March 14, 1943 in Brookfield, MO. Edward was united in marriage to Patsy Enyeart on July 14, 1962 in Marceline, MO.

Eddie worked as a supervisor for Whitaker Cable through its closing. He then worked many years at Beaches Sporting Goods and ended his working career at Senate Bill 40.

Eddie was a member of the Brookfield Masonic Lodge #86 and a Tri County Shriner. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and angler.

Eddie is survived by his wife, Patsy of the home; two children, Beth Valentine and husband Jim of Lee’s Summit, MO; and Jason Womack and girlfriend Nicole Hollowell of Brookfield, MO; two grandchildren, Amanda Baldwin and husband Jake and Jacob Valentine and girlfriend Maddy Hall, and several other

relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Daisy Womack; a daughter-in-law, Melissa Womack; a sister, Dolores Webb. Funeral Service will be Friday, January 13, 2023 at 11:00 am. at Rhodes Funeral Home, Brookfield, MO; with Pastor Tom Parks officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Garden Cemetery, Brookfield, MO. Visitation will be held at the Rhodes Funeral Home at 10:00 am. Friday, January 13, 2023 with a Masonic Service to start at 10:45 am with the funeral services to follow at 11:00 am.
