Marceline High School senior golfer Will Heller’s dramatic eagle on the second-to-last hole of last Thursday’s Lewis and Clark Conference golf tournament earned him the medalist honor. Heller (left) shot a 76, one shot better than Salisbury’s Elliott Hayward. Fellow MHS Tigers Lance O’Dell (center) and Jacob Stallo (right) also played very well, shooting an 80 and 82, respectively, to place in the top six individually and earn all-conference status. Led by the trio, Marceline posted a team score of 327, its best tourney total of the season and good for second place in the L&C Tourney team standings behind Salisbury’s 324.
