Brookfield High School’s Alexandra “Alex” Sharp has a sizable lead over her nearest competition coming down the homestretch of the girls’ 1,600-meters run during the Chillicothe Joe Shy Relays track-and-field meet last Friday. After winning this race by more than four seconds, Sharp went on to take the 800 by a larger margin, finished second in the 3,200, and was on BHS’ third-place 1,600 relay squad to accumulate a meet-most 29.5 points for the Lady Bulldogs.
