Linn County E911 Central Dispatch Marks Six Years of Service

BROOKFIELD – Linn County E911 Central Dispatch celebrated its sixth anniversary on Sept. 23, 2025, marking six years of service as the county’s 24/7 Public Safety Answering Point.

Since opening its doors in 2019, the center has handled thousands of emergency calls, serving as the critical first link between residents in crisis and emergency responders. The dispatch team continues to carry out its mission: protecting and serving Linn County citizens with professionalism, compassion, and excellence.

“From the very first call to the thousands we’ve answered since, our mission has remained the same,” staff shared in their anniversary announcement. “We are here to protect and serve the people of Linn County.”

Officials also expressed gratitude to the employees who work tirelessly behind the scenes, the Board of Directors who help guide the agency, and the residents who place their trust in the service every day.

Located at 110 W. Ira Street in Linneus, the dispatch center operates around the clock and can be reached at 660-376-2911. More information is available at linncounty911.com.

As the team looks toward the future, the anniversary serves as both a milestone and a reminder of the essential role dispatchers play in public safety.
