Seen returning the football he’d just wrested away from a Fayette ballcarrier to the end zone for a win-clinching touchdown this past Sept. 22, Marceline High School football Tigers senior linebacker Conner Quinn is the only player from a Linn County team selected for membership on the Missouri Football Coaches Association’s 2023 All-State teams. The 5’11”, 165-pounder, also a key performer for the Tigers as a running back on offense, was chosen to the defensive second team. According to statistics provided by head coach Joey Peterson, made 63 unassisted tackles and aided on another 22, forcing one fumble and recovering four – one of which ran in for a touchdown.
