After nearly 50 years as fellow members of the Lewis and Clark Conference, Marceline High School and Fayette – their football teams seen competing at MHS’ Chester Ray Stadium during the 2021 state playoffs – will meet in athletics competition far less often beginning in the 2024-25 school year when Marceline shifts to the Grand River Conference’s East Division.
