Marceline Rotary Club to Serve Pulled Pork Nachos at Homecoming Tonight

The excitement of Homecoming Friday in Marceline will come with a tasty twist this year. Before the Marceline Tigers take the field against Salisbury tonight, Oct. 3, fans can grab a pre-game meal while supporting a local cause.

The Marceline Rotary Club is teaming up with Tiger Country Smokehouse to serve pulled pork nachos just outside Chester Ray Stadium from 5-7 p.m. Each order is $10, with all proceeds benefiting the Rotary Scholarship Fund, which provides financial support to local students pursuing higher education.

The nachos, loaded with tender pulled pork and fresh toppings, are designed to be the perfect pre-game fix for hungry fans heading into the big night. It’s a chance for the community to rally together over good food and Tiger pride while giving back in a tasty way.

The fundraiser is part of Rotary’s ongoing efforts to blend service with community spirit. With hundreds of fans expected for the Homecoming game, the group hopes the event will both fuel Tiger supporters and help grow scholarship opportunities for the next generation.

Kickoff for the Homecoming matchup is set for later that evening, but the flavor celebration begins well before the whistle blows. As the Tigers gear up to take on Salisbury, the Rotary Club is inviting everyone to stop by, grab a plate of nachos, and be part of an evening where football, food, and community all come together to prepare to root on the Tigers.
