For a third year in a row, coach Michael Severa’s Marceline High School’s golf Tigers will be involved in the Class 1 state tournament next week after placing second in the District 3 tournament at Moberly late last week. Eligible to play at state for MHS, which was state runnerup in a close finish last spring, will be district medalist Braden Lichtenberg and runner Lance O’Dell, as well as Hayden DeWeese and Trenten Schreiner.
