The First-Degree Murder case involving Chariton County resident Sarah Linebaugh has been continued until July 10.
An order of continuance was filed by Chariton County Prosecuting Attorney Clifford Thornburg June 28.
Sarah Linebaugh with her attorney Robert Fleming appeared in court June 28 at 1:30 p.m. The Chariton County Prosecuting Attorney Clifford Thornburg, ordered a continuance of Linebaugh’s First-Degree Murder case. The continuance was granted by the court. The new preliminary hearing is set for July 10 at 1:30 p.m.
Later, the defense requested an own-recognizance bond for Linebaugh. The court granted Linebaugh an own-recognizance bond with the option of being placed in a mental health/medical facility.
As previously reported, Linebaugh is currently facing a First-Degree Murder charge in the death of her child from March 18. A Chariton County arrest warrant was served for Linebaugh April 26. Previously, Linebaugh was held on a $100,000 cash-only bond.
