The accident occurred on Route N, in Livingston County.
According to reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, following a 9:32 p.m., traffic crash on Friday, July 26 on Livingston County Route N, troopers arrested Marie Osborn, 57, Chillicothe, for alleged DWI - alcohol - causing severe physical injury, among other charges.
The report states that Osborn was driving east on Route N, west of Chillicothe, when she drove off the right side of the road, struck a guardrail and spun 180 degrees, coming to a stop in the middle of Route N facing south.
A passenger, Aaron J. Sannipoli, 33, Chillicothe, received serious injuries and was taken by LifeFlight Eagle to Truman Medical Center. It is unknown if he was wearing a seatbelt. Osborn was not wearing a seatbelt and was taken by ambulance to Hedrick Medical Center (HMC) for treatment of moderate injuries.
Troopers arrested Osborn for a variety of charges, including alleged DWI - alcohol - causing serious injury; no seatbelt; failure to affix plates; and careless and imprudent driving resulting in an accident. She was released for treatment at HMC.
