This year, for the first time ever, the annual Friends of Marceline Carnegie Library Quilt and Fiber Arts Show will be held for two days.
The show will be held from 2-8 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 4 and then again on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday will be open for viewing the entries and voting. Saturday will be viewing, voting and several informative presentations.

Susie Johnson and Chris Ankeney will be sharing their quilts this year. At 1 p.m, Saturday there will be a presentation explaining “Unexpected Tools for Quilters”; and at 2 p.m., there will be a demonstration of how the same quilt pattern may be put together in different ways to render a completely different look.
“Come share your talents by entering your creations in the show,” Bryant said. “Those that are
pre-registered by Sept. 27 will be entered into the show booklet.
Those interested can obtain a form from the Marceline Carnegie Library or online. Participants can also bring their items to the show without pre-registering them but they may not be displayed with their proper category.
