Daniel J. Teel
Daniel J. Teel, age 55 of St. Catharine, Missouri died Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Brunswick Nursing Home. Daniel was born in Topeka, Kansas on December 20, 1962 to Daniel J. and Mary E. (Haefner) Teel. He married Lisa Dawn Payne on January 30, 2003.
Daniel was a Veteran of the United States Army and had worked as a Postmaster. He was a member of the American Legion Post #57 of Bucklin.
He is survived by his wife Lisa of the home in St. Catharine, parents Danny Joe and Mary Teel, Bucklin, two sons, Daniel Jeremiah Teel (14) and Dylan Josiah Teel (9), daughter Mary Emily Teel (12), all of the home in St. Catharine, daughter Jerry Lou-Lynn Mitch and fiancé Joshua Lee Pepper of Wathena, KS, two brothers, Paul Teel, Bucklin, John Teel, Brookfield, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, Elmer and Alice Haefner and Dan and Carmaleta Teel.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Delaney Funeral Home, Marceline with visitation starting at Noon. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Legion Post #57 of Bucklin and sent to 1720 N. Missouri Ave., Marceline, MO 64658.
Doris Earlene Taylor
Doris Earlene Taylor left this world to be with the lord on August 14, 2018. She was born on June 17, 1932 in Marceline, Missouri to Ruby and Earl Guest. She graduated from Marceline High School in 1950 and married the love of her life, Harry N. Taylor, on January 26, 1952. They were constant companions throughout life as they owned and operated a farm in Chariton county for 52 years. In 2008, Harry and Earlene sold their farm and moved to Marceline and enjoyed a quiet life in retirement. In 2012, Harry and Earlene moved to the Liberty area to be closer to their son and daughter-in-law Wayne and Donna Kay Taylor. Everyone who knew Earlene loved her joyous personality and the encouragement that she always provided to everyone. She was a beloved member of Siloam Methodist church and particularly enjoyed singing the old hymns.
She is survived by her husband Harry, of the home, two sons David Taylor of Chicago, IL; and Wayne and Donna Kay Taylor of Liberty, MO; grandson Patrick Taylor and great grandson Jarett of Phoenix, AZ; and grandson and granddaughter-in-law Ryan and Hannah Taylor of Portland, MA; and their children, Julia and Miles.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline with visitation starting at 1 PM. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery, Keytesville. Memorials may be made to Bethany Cemetery and sent to 1720 N. Missouri Ave., Marceline, MO 64658.
Doris L. Clarkson
Doris L. Clarkson, age 90, of Laclede, died Monday, August 13, 2018, at McLarney Manor in Brookfield.
A funeral service will be Friday, August 17, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Laclede with Pastor Joe Cuminale officiating. Burial will be in Laclede Cemetery in Laclede. Visitation will begin Thursday, August 16, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 in the evening at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield.

Doris Lorna, the daughter of Fred and Hazel (Peet) Clinefelter, was born September 19, 1927 in Laclede. On October 27, 1946, she married Robert Clarkson who preceded her in death on February 27, 2010.
Doris was a homemaker and a bookkeeper for Mosley & Company for several years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Laclede and the Laclede Civic Club. She was a former member of the Laclede Chapter PTO and the YMCA. Doris was an active participant at the Senior Center in Brookfield.
Survivors include one daughter, Diane Lambert and husband, Steve of Brookfield; four sons, Robert Clarkson and wife, Sharon of Elwood, Indiana, Dave Clarkson and wife, Sandra of Laclede, Randy Clarkson of Jefferson City and Rock Clarkson and Erin Maloney of Jefferson City; thirteen grandchildren, Brad Clarkson and wife, Leslie, Jill Tallman and husband, Jim, Rebecca Smith and husband, Sean, Rob Clarkson and wife, Meagan, Elizabeth Manion and husband, Smith, Craig Clarkson and wife, Annie, Jeffrey Clarkson and wife, Hannah, Joe Clarkson and wife, Monica, Emily Clarkson, Matt Lambert and wife, Kate, Luke Lambert and wife, Brooke, Dolores Ponder, and Richard Moretti; 15 great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Edna Mae Farmer and husband, Duane and Colleen Clinefelter.
Her parents; one grandson, Alex Clarkson; one daughter-in-law, Rita Clarkson; one brother, Don Clinefelter; and two sisters, Alice Dowell and Lois Robbins also preceded her in death.
Rickie Jenkins, age 67, of Brookfield, died Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at University Hospital in Columbia.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Rickie Lee, son of Wilbur and Jesse (Frock) Jenkins, was born February 24, 1951, in DeWitt. On February 16, 1974, he married Joyce Hunt.
Rickie was a Veteran of the US Army, serving during Vietnam. He also served in the National Guard.
He spent many years finishing floors at Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce of the home; two daughters, Kimberly Park and husband, Todd of Carrollton and Kinsey Packham and husband, Tony of Brookfield; three granddaughters, Jordan, Abigale and Autumn; his mother, Jesse Jenkins of Brookfield; two brothers, Larry Jenkins of Brookfield and Vern Jenkins of Trenton; two sisters, Leigh Madden of the Kansas City area and Linda Al-Hilphy of Brookfield; and several other family members.
His father; and two brothers, Gary Jenkins and Terry Jenkins preceded him in death.
