Gary Allen Anders Sr.

Gary Allen Anders Sr., age 75 of Bucklin, died Friday, December 14, 2018 at his home. Gary was born in Bucklin, Missouri on March 23, 1943 to Albert Anton and Eva Louise (Kirby) Anders. He married Phyllis Fay Breeden on December 8, 1962 and she survives him.

Gary had worked many years as a mechanic and farmer and at Hurtt Fabricating. He was a longtime volunteer fireman for the City of Bucklin and a devout Christian of the Bucklin United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis of the home in Bucklin, children, Gary Anders Jr. and Elizabeth of Wien, Douglas Anders Sr. and Stacey of Bucklin, Ricky Joe Anders and Charlotte of Hurdland, Mary Ramos of Grand Junction, CO, Jerry Lee Anders of Moberly, Robert Hunter and Michelle of Novinger, Megan Jackson of Brunswick, Mary Patton Jobson of Brookfield, and many other foster children throughout their 45 years of being foster parents. Also surviving are brothers, Kirby Anders and Arleta of Eudora, KS and Martin Anders and Cindy of Bowling Green, grandchildren, Scott, Michael, Kristina, Kimberly, DJ, Phillip, Chris, Monica, Antonio, Trent, Mercades, Tre, Tyler, Dawndee, Ashley, great grandchildren, Bre, Kylie, Gunner, Isiah, Drayden, Beonka, Addison, Zack, Caleb, Alaya, and Annabell, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law Christian Jackson, grandson Christopher Bradbury, mother and father-in-law, brother-in-laws, Elbert William Breeden and Benny Eugene Hutchins and sister-in-law Patricia Ann Hutchins.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Monday, December 17, 2018 at the Bucklin United Methodist Church with burial in the New Boston Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM Sunday, December 16 at Delaney Funeral Home in Bucklin. Memorials may be made to New Boston Cemetery and mailed to 41 Locust, Bucklin, MO 64631

Robert William “Bill” Burger

Robert William “Bill” Burger, 71, of California, MO went to be with his Lord and family in heaven on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at his home. He was born on November 10, 1947 at the Latham Sanitarium the son of Fred Burger and Lucy (Murphy) Burger both of whom preceded him in death.  He was married to Judy Switzer on June 26, 1970 at the Bucklin United Methodist Church in Bucklin, MO. Bill was enlisted in the United States Army where he was a sheet metal repairman, expert marksman with the M-60 and served in the Vietnam War. Bill loved to fish, hunt, make homemade wine and enjoyed sharing stories with his many friends.  He was so proud of his sons and enjoyed watching the many events that his grandchildren were involved in. He is survived by his wife of the home Judy Burger; two sons, Jeremy Burger (Alisha) and Andy Burger (Mandy) all of California, MO; three grandchildren, Garrett, Emily and Ella Burger; three brothers, Jack Burger (Virginia) of Independence, MO, David Burger  and Arthur Burger both of California, MO; three sisters, Betty Stevens (Gerald) of Hermann, MO, Sue Tuttle (Robert) and Kathy Roll (Kim) all of California, MO; sister in-laws, Joyce Haas (Glade) from Old Town, FL and Konda Bentley both of Cairo, MO he is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Roger, John Fredrick and Richard Burger; two sister’s, Evelyn Harvey and Pat Harvey.  A Memorial service will be held at 4PM on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the California U.C.C. with visitation before from 2-4 P.M. also at the church.  Officiating will be Pastor Russell Cobb. Memorials in Lieu of flowers are suggested to the DAV or Welcome Home a Community for Veterans c/o the funeral home.  Arrangements are under the direction
