Stanley Leroy Harrington, 92, of Brookfield, Missouri went to be with his Lord and
Savior on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Pioneer Skilled Nursing Center of Marceline. Stanley was
born January 5, 1927 to Atlee Baugher Harrington and Trella (Stone) Harrington. His early life
was spent growing up on their family farm north of Bucklin, Missouri.
His walk with faith started in 1942 when he was baptized in the Gailey Coulson pond just
west of the church.
Stanley attended Brownlee Elementary School and graduated in 1945 from Bucklin High
School. The following year he enlisted in the United States Air Force. Stanley was honorably
discharged on March 14, 1947 from World War II.
Stanley and Dorothy Ruth Nickerson were married August 21, 1949. They made their
home on the Harrington farmstead. The family farm was registered as a Centennial Farm in
Five years into their marriage, Stanley was one of ten Linn Countians who left Brookfield
for Kansas City on January 14, 1952. The following day they were inducted in the United States
Army. Stanley was sent to Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, where he was trained in the Army
Reserve Corps of Engineers. He served 23 months with the engineers, 16 of these months were
in Korea on the 38 th Parallel, during the Korean War. Stanley was in charge of demolitions on the
second MLR or Main Line of Residence. Stanley was issued his discharge on November 3, 1953
at Camp Carson, Colorado.
During his life, he continued to follow in the footsteps of his Stone, Baugher, and
Harrington ancestors. He was ordained deacon on June 26, 1983 and pledged to do his best to
show forth the spirit of Christ in his church, community and family.
Stanley is survived by two children, Mary Beth Switzer and husband Richard of
Marceline: Brian Harrington and wife Billie of Bucklin: five grandchildren, Ryan Switzer and
wife Andrea of Marceline, Reese Switzer and wife Cassie of Brookfield, Beau Harrington and
wife Megan of Moberly, Brittany Harrington of Kansas City, MO, Brooke and Kyle Sprague of
Brookfield: ten great-grandchildren, Trayce, Kambrya, Traks, and Kade of Brookfield, Vance,
Nora, Valan, and Ava of Marceline, Trish and Alexis of Moberly: one niece: Shirley Batson and
husband Ben and their two children Valerie and Philip. Stanley was preceded in death by his
parents, wife Dorothy, his sister Lucille Lane and her husband J.S. and by a nephew S. A. Lane.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Pleasant Grove
Baptist Church, Bucklin. Burial with Military Honors will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Monday, March 11, 2019 at Delaney Funeral Home in

Patricia Wilson Jamison
Patricia Wilson Jamison, age 77, of Chillicothe, died Friday, March 8, 2019, at North
Kansas City Hospital.
The family will receive friends Monday, March 11, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 in the
evening at Wright Funeral Home, Brookfield.

Patricia Lou, daughter of Jewel L. and Esther Lucille (Bradley) Wilson was born March
31, 1941, in Bucklin, MO. On March 9, 1960 she married Jack Jamison of Brookfield.
Patricia was a dedicated homemaker and loved spending time with her family especially
caring for her grandchildren. She also enjoyed sewing and painting. Patricia was a
member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include her husband, Jack of the home; one daughter, Teresa Jamison Iacovone
and husband, Ike of Presidential Lakes, New Jersey; a son, Lloyd Jamison and wife
Jackie of Chillicothe; five grandchildren, Patricia Lucille Dewitt, Matthew Jamison
Dewitt, Jackie Lee Jamison, Lloyd Jack Jamison and Tiffany Lynn Maples; seven great-
grandchildren; one brother, Terry Wilson of Otley, Iowa; one sister-in-law, Coleen
Williams of Brookfield and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents and one sister, Sharron Wilson preceded her in death.
Hubert F. Wilson
Hubert F. Wilson, age 98, of Galesburg, IL, formerly of Brookfield, MO, was
called to Heaven on Thursday, March 7, 2019 to be with his wife Helen and
oldest daughter Nancy. He passed away peacefully at home with loved
ones by his side.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM at Park Baptist Church,
Brookfield, MO on Friday, March 15, 2019 with Reverend David Blakely
officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at Park Lawn Cemetery,
Brookfield, MO. A visitation will be held at Park Baptist Church from 10:00
AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to

Hubert was born August 23, 1920, the son of Carl M. and Annie I Wilson in
Laclede, MO, He worked for the Missouri State Highway Department for
thirty-seven years. He enjoyed fixing and inventing any machine
imaginable. During World War II he served as a signalman for the U.S.
Navy. His greatest joy was being with his family. For many years he was a
member of Park Baptist Church. He loved serving the Lord and was
blessed with a good life; he will be missed by all
Surviving are his daughter, Dixie Pecsi and son-in-law Frank Pecsi,
Galesburg, Il; one nephew, Gary Wilson (Judy), Brookfield, MO; one
brother-in-law, Stanley Brown, Holt Summit, MO; two nieces, Sheree
Starrett (David), Overland Park, KS; and Sandra Hemphill (Gary), Jefferson
City, MO; one great nephew, Robert Wilson, Springfield, MO; and one
cousin, Phyllis Russell of Fullerton , CA.
He was preceded in death by his brother Glen Wilson, and one sister-in-
law, Pauline Wilson.
Sheila Jenkins, age 76, of Brookfield, died Saturday, March 9, 2019, at Life Care
Center in Brookfield.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 15, 2019, at Wright
Funeral Home in Brookfield with Pastor Joe Smith officiating. Burial will be in Mt.
Olivet Cemetery in Marceline. The family will receive friends Friday beginning at
10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Sheila Rae, daughter of Gilbert and Mary Alice (Bozwell) Coram, was born March
17, 1942, in Kirksville. On September 17, 1976, she married Kenneth Lavern
Jenkins, who preceded her in death in October 7, 2012.
Sheila was a homemaker and a member of Grace Baptist Church in Brookfield.
Survivors include two sons, Arthur Sickler of Laclede and Kenneth Jenkins of
Brookfield; and one sister, Phyllis Elam and husband, Donald of Brookfield.
Her parents; an infant son, Robert Wayne Jenkins; one sister, Barbara Ann Coram;
and one brother, Gilbert Coram, Jr. also preceded her in death.
