Through a 50/50 Rotary District 6040 Grant, the Marceline Rotary Club #2295 was able to replace the two concrete benches at the Veteran's Memorial in Ripley Park with two granite benches. The project was supported by the City of Marceline and the VFW Post #1471. The Marceline Street and Parks and Recreation crew assisted with the removal of the concrete benches. Benches were purchased and set by Oldham Monument Co. in Marceline.
